In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.
The questline centers on "peculiar tests and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an special katana together with several artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
